Harrisonburg, Virginia
Collaborative leadership that listens closely, brings people together, and works for a city where every resident can thrive.
A campaign for thoughtful, community-centered leadership.
Monica brings residents, businesses, nonprofits, staff, and elected officials together to shape solutions. Her collaborative leadership values diverse perspectives, open dialogue, shared responsibility, and evidence—building equitable, innovative decisions that strengthen Harrisonburg for years to come. As a community stakeholder in the Northeast Neighborhood Community Connectors project, Monica used porch talks, interviews, and surveys to listen directly to residents, gather their perspectives, and help shape solutions grounded in community voices.
